Welcome to Esther Leijen’s website. Esther is a self-taught artist who translates her feelings and thoughts to canvas. Her paintings are mostly abstract, figurative and intuitive.

Upon starting a new painting she never knows where it may end and what the final outcome will be. She mostly enjoys the exploration throughout the journey from start to finish of the painting.
